The UN Cyprus Medal -UNFICYP was awarded for 90 days service to international forces including New Zealand Police, keeping peace between Greek and Turkish Cypriots. Cyprus has been a divided state since 1974. Members of the New Zealand Police served there between May 1964 and June 1967.
