Although time consuming and more labour intensive it is our preference to use traditional methods such as Lacing, or products such as Tackmate®, which do not damage or mark the fabric.
For long term preservation of family heirlooms and other needlework we offer and recommend conservation framing. Archival acid free materials are used and we recommend and use conservation glass which provides UV protection), against fading.
In addition we have pleasure offering a 'free' Warrant of Fitness check for all framed needlework, personally brought into our shop, for a visual inspection.
You may be surprised by what we find.
Should any repair or remedial work be required our stitching expert will recommend a suitable course of action, with materials being supplied at a reduced price.
After an oval or round frame or something a little more special and ornate, look no further. We offer a choice of sizes, styles and shapes from plain to the intricately detailed.
